Between all-night-and-early-morning marathon card playing sessions, games of Calvinball, multiple trips to the tailor to do the fittings for Danika's wedding dress (!!!!), and a seemingly endless supply of good food, good times, and good company .... you would suspect that we are completely tuckered out.
We are. But we're highly satisfied with the time we've spent here so far.
But like all things, our time as a fearsome-foursome is coming to a close. Danika left us to go back to the States last week, but not without a friend-filled send off.

Ohh, check out all these goodies....... ah.... the comforts 0f Delhi
Couldn't have her leaves with out the obligatory goofy group shot!

I swear we're just drinking coconut water!
And then there were three...
With Danika gone, we had to keep Hamsa occupied. What better way than with bowling and games of pool. For a couple of moments there it even felt like we were back in the States.... until we saw a young woman bowling in a sari. Seriously, hard-core.

The never-ending game of Cutthroat
We also had a chance to swing by the AIIS offices in Gurgaon (just outside of Delhi) and hang out on their rooftop garden, complete with a springy carpet of fresh grass.
Sadly Allen left us this morning to go to Pune in search of the leather workers who provide the straps for just about every tabla maker Allen has so far. After Pune he heads back to Banaras for an important yearly music festival that happens at the end of April before joining me in Mussoorie. And then there were two....
Allen and Danika will be sorely missed but I'm sure Hamsa and I can think of things to keep ourselves occupied until we all meet up again.....
.... bowling, anyone?
