Halloween in Lucknow

... just wasn't nearly as crazy and goofy as it is in the States, although it had its moments.

Believe it or not - there is no such thing as a "costume shop" here in Lucknow ... while I'm sure people dress up at times, it is probably just for performances or ceremonies - not because they are having an amazing party where everyone's creativity is let loose. As such we didn't have a whole lot of options on the grounds to really "make" costumes ... but we tried. You'd be amazed how versatile (and hilarious) a sheet over your head can be.

First stages of a really rad costume

What do you think of Caspian the Not-So-Friendly Ghost or Dr. Ghost?
Our friend Colin wins though for most imagination on the least amount of resources, he was a head-on-a-platter ... an Afghani kebab. Yummy!

These were the best costumes by far (since they were the only costumes of the evening) ... but we still had fun.

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween back home!
