The syrup itself was definitely made in the States (high fructose corn syrup and all), but it was made for distribution in the Middle East, we're assuming, because most of the back was written in Arabic --- to the delight of the Urdu speakers in our group.Besides buying eggs on the side of the road, and pouring milk out of a baggy, the experience was pretty similar to what it was in the states ....
Allen made too much batter (as always), but since we had six mouths to feed, we had a perfect amount for everyone.
