Here is a short video of our flat in Lucknow. It is a very comfortable space in a pretty building near the "center" of town ... not bad. We have this very nice terrace that Allen keeps insisting he wants to have people over to fly kites (local pastime of children) and drink beer (not a pastime for local children).

What an adventure for the two of you! It sounds like you've been through some of the worst (I hope it's the worst you experience). Hopefully the rest of your stay will include more positive memories (like kite-flying -- I love it!). What an amazing experience. Thanks for letting us have a window to your world!
