Its that time of year again... when all the colors come out...
And everyone prepares for the massive colorful water-fight that ensues on Holi.

Some of you may remember last year's Holi; and this year was pretty similar. Frightened by all the reports of how rowdy (read: violent) Holi can be in Banaras, we opted instead to play with our neighbors and the kids on the roof. And let's just say that the battle of colors and water was just as fierce!

We all had a blast - and it was too bad that we eventually ran out of colors (otherwise we might have gone on for longer). Thankfully we both cleaned up pretty nicely (probably in large part b/c we greased up with sunblock before heading out) ... and are none the worse for wear despite all the dire warnings of how crazy Banarasi Holi are.
